EFISC-GTP Training course

Dear Stakeholder,

In May 2024, there will be the annual EFISC-GTP training. It will be addressed to the following 3 target groups: 

a.         Operators already EFISC-GTP certified or in progress of certification

b.         New operators (not already certified) but interested to the EFISC-GTP standards

c.         Consultants

The course will be focused on the structure of the EFISC-GTP Code, also giving information on the following topics:

-  Updates to the EFISC-GTP standard:  changes due to the new ISO 22003-1: 2022, hybrid and totally remote audits, new module on sustainability, positive labelling and transportation

-  Monitoring plan

-  Mutual recognition and recognition of other feed standards

-  Application of the gatekeeping rules

-  Incident notification procedure

-  Risk assessment

-  New EFISC-GTP aflatoxin protocol and country risk analysis related to Aflatoxin B1

-  Incident prevention (salmonella and aflatoxin). The part about salmonella will be covered by EASTMAN (An explanatory technical document on the prevention and management of salmonella will be distributed to participants at the end of the course)

The webinars will take place on the following dates:

-      Wednesday 15 May 2024 at 10.00 am (till 12.30 pm)

-      Thursday 16 May 2024 at 10.00 am (till 12.30 pm)

During the first day, the following topics will be discussed:

-      General presentation of the EFISC-GTP standard

-      Updates to the EFISC-GTP standard

-      Application of the gatekeeping rules

Remaining topics will be discussed during the following day.

For the categories “a” (operators already EFISC-GTP certified) the participation cost is 100 Euro (administrative costs). For the category “b” and “c” the cost is 200 Euro.
