Purchase of certified sustainable feed material

Against the background of the EU Regulation 2023/1115 of 31 May 2023 regarding deforestation-free supply chains targeting specific commodities in the Union market, the EFISC-GTP Governance body, in July 2023, approved a new module “Purchase of certified sustainable feed material”. This module can be adopted on a voluntary basis by EFISC-GTP certified operators (feed producers or traders) with the intention to certify the chain of custody of feed materials (for example soybean and/or soybean by-products). Companies interested in adopting this module in addition to the EFISC-GTP certification, must contact their Certification Body or EFISC-GTP directly in order to receive the necessary relevant information for updating their certification.
