EFISC-GTP Documents (version 4.0)The European code of good practice for the Industrial manufacturing of safe feed & food materials is a public document and its content is freely available to any feed materials operators. The EFISC-GTP feed & Food safety management system consists of the following documents: a) European Code to good practice for collection, transport, storage, trading and industrial manufacture of safe feed/food ingredients b) Sector specific documents (products, hazards, processes, risk assessments and control measures) Be aware that for delivery to OVOCOM and QS customers some extra requirements are in place under the mutual recognition agreement. The sector specific documents are an integral part of the EFISC-GTP feed & food safety system, developed by the responsible European feed materials producing sector organisations in cooperation with the EFISC-GTP technical committee. Running side by side, a parallel and independent certification system is in place as described in the Rules for Certification. As of 15.03.2019, version 4.0 of the EFISC-GTP Rules of Certification is applicable. Please see the Annex for the full list of the changes made. You find the new documents here.
Important deadlines are:
- Publication of the new EFISC-GTP scheme: 15 March 2019 - Deadline for Certification Bodies to have EFISC-GTP among their accredited activities: 15 March 2021
- Deadline for companies to achieve certification against the new code of EFISC-GTP: 15 March 2022
Participation in the EFISC-GTP auditable system is based on voluntary commitment.
