New version of the starch sector document version 2.3 available 17/12/2012
EFISC is pleased to let you know that a new version of the sector document on starch processing is available for use.
The production of feed materials as a result of the manufacturing of starch from peas has been included. It provides the listing of the related feed materials, flowchart and description of the production process and a risk assessment by process stage. In addition the generic part of the risk assessment has been reviewed and updated, addressing the incoming raw materials, water, processing agents, the manufacturing process control and transport and storage. The extension of the starch sector document with the pea section came as a respond to the demand of the sector to include these feed materials under the scope of the EFISC certification.
