EFISC News: publication of the revised version of the Biodiesel sector document version 2.0 14/03/2017
EFISC is pleased to announce the publication of a revised version of the Biodiesel sector document, version 2.0.
The document has been revised in cooperation with the European Biodiesel Board (EBB) technical committee and the EFISC technical committee during the last year.
The version 2.0 provides more details on the process and control measures in order to manufacture and deliver a safe feed ingredient (glycerine as a co- product from biodiesel processing) to the customer and an updated risk assessment by process step.
The version 2.0 is accepted under the mutual recognition by GMP+, OVOCOM, QS and FEMAS.
The implementation of the document under the EFISC feed safety management certification scheme will start as of 22 March 2017.
